Bergen County's United Way is available to provide support to those affected by the serious employment crisis in our community. Our approach involves focusing on job creation in small and mid-sized companies, organizations which historically have been the growth engines for New Jersey's economy.
We have identified four key components to strategically support employers.
- Personalized mentoring focused on business development solutions
- Identification of specific success factors for job creation
- Job placement assistance and qualified candidate referrals
- Education on government assistance for job creation
