Ann Limberg
Takes Seat on Bergen County's
United Way Board of Directors
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ, February 17, 2006-
Ann M. Limberg, President of Bank of America
for New Jersey and resident of Mahwah, has accepted
membership on the volunteer Board of Directors
of Bergen County’s United Way. Bergen
County’s United Way provides thousands
of people in our community with the help they
need for a wide range of human care needs.
“I’ve come to know the good work
of our local United Way through my involvement
in their new women’s leadership initiative,
Women United in Philanthropy,” stated
Ms. Limberg. “I’m excited about
the opportunity to join with other volunteers
on the board and help fulfill United Way’s
mission of helping people.”
As the senior Bank of America executive for
New Jersey, Ms. Limberg provides statewide leadership
for business, civic and philanthropic activities.
In this role she looks to continuously improve
the customer experience and deploy company resources
in New Jersey to create more vibrant communities.
Before joining Fleet in 1996, Limberg held senior
leadership positions in retail banking and private
banking at NatWest and Citibank. Her professional
credits include credit/ finance training at
Citicorp’s Institute for Global Finance,
Canon Trust School, and Certified Financial
Planner.
A graduate of the State University of New York
at Stony Brook, Ann is a member of the board
of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and
Liberty Science Center. She was recently recognized
by NJBIZ as one of the Top 25 Women of Influence
in New Jersey.
