A Standard of Excellence
The public deserves to have complete confidence in the organizations
it entrusts with its charitable gifts. Bergen County’s United
Way is committed to the highest ethical and professional standard in
carrying out our mission. We know that our success depends upon transparency,
accountability, and that the respect for our donors cannot be compromised.
Bergen County’s United Way has strong policies in place for
the finances of our organization. There are stringent controls that
require review and approval of all expenses.
The public accounting firm of O’Connor, Davies, Munns
and Dobbins conducts an audit annually. Our audit is available for public
view as are the annual regulatory filings of the organization submitted
to the State of New Jersey and the IRS.
