"I finally got an offer and there are so many things I have to thank you for. It turns out that I was competing with 5-6 very qualified people. I do not think I could have made it through to the finish without your very professional help; you not only helped me drastically improve my resume, but in the process, you made me focus and articulate the skills that I have that are of value to the company. This may sound simple, but it is not at all simple."

Bergen County's unemployment (and underemployment) problem has reached historic levels. Calls to 2-1-1 (or clicks to NJ211.org), the United Way's free 24/7 helpline have increased dramatically. If you are unemployed, working fewer hours and/or receiving less pay than in the past, unfortunately you are not alone.
Job search support is available to you in numerous ways:
- Email a resume and receive feedback for improvement.
- Request a copy of career advice papers and articles.
- Email a coach with a specific job search question.
If you would benefit from any of the above-listed services, please email Christine Incontro at cincontro@bergenunitedway.org with a brief description of the request. Please attach a copy of your resume if you have one.
