Volunteer! Join the Young Leaders!
Get involved as a Young Leader, a group of young professionals under 30 who are dedicated to bettering their community through volunteer work, fundraising and education, and social activities throughout the year. The mission of the Young Leaders is to promote philanthropy, volunteerism and leadership among local young professionals to positively impact our community.
Recently, Young Leaders have painted and renovated the Franciscan Development Center in Fairview which serves as a sanctuary to those in need and volunteered to work at Zoe's Place
when they received an exceptionally large order. The group has also met with Compassion Fund recipients to better understand the needs in our community and develop ways to lend a helping hand. Currently, the Young Leaders are working with
West Side Infant Day Care with administrative needs. To date, Young Leaders have used their skill to create a brochure and presentation tools to attract sponsorship to the organization. They have also solicited the services of Hudson Horizon who donated time to create a website for West Side. The group is also in the early stages of planning a fundraiser for United Way and West Side Infant Day Care.
